Hole
#10 Tee Shot
OK, you've had a great front 9. Take a big breath and play this hole well
to take momentum into the back 9. Plenty of landing area for big drive. Everything
is straight away.
Approach
There is a ridge on left to help some of your longer second shos stay in fairway
but it rarely works that way. If anything gets left it has a way of finding
the rough or runs away out of bounds. To reach in 2 you need to be long
AND accurate. Look to play to the 150 or just inside as a controlled second
shot will leave you a nice short iron or wedge into what plays as a small
green.
To green:
Long - and it's plenty of trouble on back side of green. Most pin
placements are pretty favorable. If back right, play to center of green
as there is
plenty of trouble around right side with bunker and fall off back of green..
Green
Another reasonably level green with a slight ridge on right.
